I enjoy experimenting with IoT boards but have never understood the pricing of Intel's offerings. Joule, Galileo, & Edison were many times the price of their ARM brethren. The only reason to pay so much was if you were stuck in Windows. The Curie, however, is a powerful board at a decent price.
