Announcing SQL Server on Linux
Seems quite insular to call it just "SQL Server". We already have Postgres SQL Server, MySql SQL Server, etc. They should call it "Microsoft SQL Server".

They do but they also seem to own the trademark to "SQL Server":

No, it's just PostgreSQL and MySQL. Neither has "Server" in its name.
